Maple Leaf Foods has been designated as a "Caring Company" by the Canadian Centre for Philanthropy through their IMAGINE program. This means we donate, as a minimum, one per cent of pre-tax profits to worthy causes in the form of both cash and in-kind gifts. Our philanthropic giving focuses on three sectors:
- Effective health research and services
- Community and social services programs
- Education, particularly in the area of food nutrition research
